In a survey conducted in 2019 about the aged care sector in Australia, 75.4 percent of respondents stated that the ratio between registered nurses and other staff in their facility were inadequate. The most concerning aged care sector issue for these survey respondents was having adequate staffing levels to meet the basic care needs of their patients.
