The Men's Ashes is a historic Test cricket series held approximately once every two years between England and Australia. The series is traditionally composed of five test matches, with Australia's Syd Gregory holding the all-time record for number of matches played in the famous series. The right-hand batsman played in 52 Ashes tests against England between 1890 and 1912.
