In 2018, television advertising made up 17.3 percent of total advertising spend in Malaysia. It was forecasted that the share of television advertising spending would increase slightly to 17.6 percent in 2020. Despite the forecasted growth, television ad spend has been impacted by the significant and continued growth in digital advertising expenditure.
