In 2022, the state of Mexico had the highest number of people considered socially vulnerable due to their lack of access to healthcare services in Mexico. Out of more than 50 million people in this situation at the national level, nearly 7.7 million people lived in the state of Mexico, while 146,000 inhabitants in Baja California Sur were considered in the same condition.
