According to a survey conducted in 2018 among Indian business leaders about their policies and procedures for streamlining relationships and protecting interests, 58 percent of the respondents stated that they have shareholder agreement. The majority of Indian family businesses surveyed have some form of policy or procedure to clarify the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders.
