Illegal cultivation of coca in the department of Antioquia, in Colombia amounted to approximately 13.4 thousand hectares in 2018, down from almost 13.7 thousand hectares a year earlier. The land area used for illegal cultivation in the department had been continuously increasing since 2013, when it amounted to less than one thousand hectares. The department of Antioquia had the fifth largest area of illegal coca cultivation in 2018.
