In the United States, it is most common for individuals to begin consuming beer between the ages of 21 and 29 years. According to a 2019 survey, 35.7 percent of Americans started drinking beer during that phase of their life, while 35.2 percent of the survey respondents began drinking beer between 18 and 20 years of age.
