According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2021, 51 percent of male respondents in China stated that positive recommendations from family and friends would influence them to try a Korean skincare product. Within the survey, the share of Chinese male respondents who use Korean beauty products was around three percent of all male respondents.
