In 2018, print media advertising expenditure experienced negative growth, with newspapers seeing an eight percent decrease in ad spend, and magazines a decrease of 30 percent. Despite the decrease in print media ad spend, Indonesia's overall ad spend saw a growth of 2.2 percent in 2018.
