In the second quarter of 2020, Apple Inc. shipped a total of 3.2 million of its Apple Watch products in North America, retaining its place as the biggest name in the wearable band industry. Fitbit, a brand which focused more on fitness related wearables, ranked second, reporting shipments of 1.6 million wearable bands. The total North American market grew by nearly three million shipments between the second quarter of 2018 and the second quarter of 2020.
