In a survey on skincare and beauty products conducted by Rakuten Insight, as of July 2021, 31 percent of male respondents in Singapore said that they used Korean beauty and skincare products. By comparison, 64 percent of female respondents from Singapore used Korean beauty products. K-beauty has gained in popularity and market share over the years, especially in Asia. K-beauty products were perceived by Asian customers to better meet their skincare needs.
