Leading areas with active offline grocery store consumers in 2018
The area with the highest share of active grocery store customers in 2018 was the Middle East, with over 40 percent of the respondents making short trips to buy grocery at least once a day. Over the observed period, 40 percent of Russians went to nearby shops to do their grocery shopping every day. In Thailand, almost 30 percent of the population had a similar consumer behavior.
