Reasons for not using K-beauty products among female respondents Indonesia 2021
In a survey on skincare and beauty products conducted by Rakuten Insight, as of July 2021, 49 percent of female respondents in Indonesia who do not use Korean beauty products, said that it was because there were too many different types of products to choose from. K-beauty is known for its innovative and varied skincare products and ingredients. While this might appeal to the beauty-savvy, the apparent complexity and variety of products might confuse and turn off a certain segment of consumers.
