According to a survey conducted in 2018 about the philanthropic activities of family businesses in India, 90 percent of the respondents were involved in giving money to good causes and their local community. Most of the family businesses prefer to focus on the upliftment of local villages and help in establishing schools, providing health and sanitation services and work towards the social empowerment of women.
