Opinion on equal pay for men and women in India 2019-2020

According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on predictions for global issues in 2020, 71 percent of Indian respondents thought it likely that women will be paid the same as men for the same work that year. Only 26 percent of the respondents felt this was unlikely.
Interestingly, Philippines, India and Malaysia who are often seen to be more male dominated societies, were most confident about equal pay for women that year, while developed countries like Germany seemed less optimistic.
