According to the data gathered from 2014 to 2018, the Dominican Republic has seen an increase in the import value of live poultry such as geese, turkey and ducks. After a short stagnation in 2015 and 2016, the country's poultry imports reached in 2018 a value of over 3.8 million dollars, up from nearly 3.3 million dollars a year earlier.
