Participation rate of men in overseas sightseeing travel Japan 2016, by age group
In 2016, among men in Japan, young men aged between 25 to 29 years old were the most likely to have participated in overseas traveling, showing a participation rate of 9.1 percent. They were closely followed by men aged 20 to 24 years old. While the same age groups were also the most active in the case of Japanese women, a comparison by gender shows that women in their 20s were almost twice as likely as men to have participated in overseas sightseeing travel.
