Mexico: vulnerable people due to social deprivation 2018, by state

The state of Mexico was the state with the highest number of people considered vulnerable due to social deprivation in Mexico in 2018. It was estimated that nearly 5 million people in this state were suffering from social deprivations and were therefore considered vulnerable. On the other hand, Colima was the state with the lowest number of vulnerable people due to social deprivation, with 268.9 thousand. Nearly 30 percent of the Mexican population suffered from social deprivation in 2018.
