In 2018, most travelers in Italy were interested in finding out about the local food tourism of their trip destination. Indeed, according to the survey, travelers very interested or partially interested in exploring local food tourism while on a trip accounted for 56 percent of the total respondents. On the contrary, only 18 percent of travelers involved in the survey claimed to be strongly or partially disinterested in this activity in the selected year.
