According to data from Ipsos, 57 percent of Swedish respondents agreed that the military should always put the rules of warfare ahead of national interest.

The question asked in the survey was as follows: "To what extent, if at all, do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The [NATIONALITY] military should always put avoiding civilian casualties and following the rules of warfare ahead of the [NATIONALITY] national interest?"
