This statistic shows campers in Germany by investment fund ownership in comparison with the German population. In 2023, around 27 percent of German campers, i.e. people who preferred to go camping on vacation, owned a building loan contract. The Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis (Allensbacher Markt- und Werbeträgeranalyse or AWA in German) determines attitudes, consumer habits and media usage of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.

The survey is based on the German-speaking population aged 14 years and older with their main residence in the Federal Republic of Germany.
