According to a survey published in 2020, PlayStation Plus was the preferred online gaming platform by eSports fans in Italy. People who followed eSports more than once a week and claimed to use this platform accounted for 32 percent of all respondents. Twitch Prime and Nintendo Online were also popular platforms, used by 28 percent and 21 percent of eSports fans, respectively.
