In 2020, only few museums, galleries, and similar cultural institutions in Italy provided Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. Data show that only seven percent of the museums involved in the survey offered this digital tool to its audience. However, 54 percent of cultural institutions claimed that they are planning to implement this technology in the future.
