French presidential election results by age 2017
In a survey taken in the days just prior to the the second round of voting in the French Presidential elections of 2017, 66 percent of 18-24 year olds advised they would vote for Emmanuel Macron, with 34 percent saying they would vote for Marine Le Pen. Macron had the highest support among over 70s, with 78 percent backing him, while Le Pen had the highest support among those aged between 35 and 49.
