Horticulture production share in India FY 2023, by state
In fiscal year 2023, Uttar Pradesh produced the largest share of horticultural crops in India, accounting for 13 percent. Madhya Pradesh came in second at over ten percent. As a leading producer of low-cost fruits and vegetables, the country had an enormous export market. The main exports from this segment included onions, mango pulp, fresh mangoes, dried walnuts and fresh grapes.
