Nearly 5.8 thousand sables, 2.8 thousand wild reindeers, and 2.8 thousand Siberian musk deer were estimated to have lived in the areas swelled by forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, a region located in the Siberian federal district of Russia, in 2019. Among other animals suffering from disasters were moose, bears, and lynxes.
