In 2017, 60 percent of respondents from Mexico declared having a preference towards branded goods. In contrast, only nine percent of respondents claimed to have a preference towards non-branded goods. In 2018, the most valuable Mexican brand was Corona, with a value of more than eight billion U.S. dollars.
