In 2017, more than half of respondents from Colombia declared having a preference towards branded goods, namely 62 percent. In contrast, only nine percent of respondents claimed to have a preference towards non-branded goods. In 2018, the most valuable Colombian brand was Aguila, with a value of almost four billion U.S. dollars.
