In 2022, South Korea's nominal GNI (Gross National Income) amounted to around 2,193.5 trillion South Korean won, while North Korea's nominal GNI was about 36.7 trillion South Korean won. In the last decade, the GNI difference between the two Koreas has steadily increased, with the South's GNI now being almost sixty times that of the North.
