Brazil: AIDS cases in men 2018, by exposure category

In the first semester of 2018, more than 1.6 thousand of AIDS cases in men notified in Brazil were a result of homosexual exposure, while the number of patients infected through heterosexual exposure amounted to almost 2.1 thousand. One AIDS-positive man in the country was infected through blood transfusion.
