According to a 2018 survey, most cinema goers in Poland have a strong preference for lower cinema ticket prices, and a fairly strong aversion toward paying more than the current price. This trend was strongest when it came to audiences of commercial/multi-plex cinemas. When it comes to local or studio cinemas, much fewer respondents indicated that they wanted to pay less, and more than half were willing to pay more than the current price.
