Between May 2015 and April 2019, Google UK searches for designer fashion brands experienced a growth rate of over 27 percent, according to the fashion retailers growth report published by Pi Datametrics. Research conducted by Pi Datametrics showed that despite being the most popular fashion category when it comes to the volume of brand searches online, fast fashion underwent a decline in popularity since. By comparison, a noteworthy growth was seen for fashion retailers in the sportswear and outdoor wear category. Between May 2015 and April 2019, searches in this category on Google UK experienced a 9.59 percent growth.
