Respondents' views on the lack of respect towards elderly Malaysia 2018
According to a survey on aging conducted by Ipsos in Malaysia in 2018, 56 percent of the respondents agreed that people didn't respect old people as much as they should. In 2020, the share of the Malaysian population aged 65 years and above was predicted to reach just under eight percent.
