Guyana: undernourishment prevalence 2004-2018
The share of population in Guyana whose habitual food intake is insufficient to maintain an active and healthy life was estimated at 8.1 percent between 2016 and 2018. In both measured periods, the country has stayed below ten percent in regards to undernourishment, showing signs of improvement compared to the previous period, when the prevalence of undernourishment stood at 9.4 percent.
