Argentina: undernourishment prevalence 2004-2023
The share of population in Argentina whose habitual food intake is insufficient to maintain an active and healthy life was estimated at 3.2 percent between 2021 and 2023. Argentina's prevalence of undernourishment in the country's total population is relatively low compared to other South American and Caribbean countries where, in some cases, the percentages exceed 25 percent. Argentina has slightly improved compared to the previous decade when the prevalence of undernourishment stood at 3.7 percent.
