Guatemala: undernourishment prevalence 2004-2020
The share of population in Guatemala whose habitual food intake is insufficient to maintain an active and healthy life was estimated at 16.8 percent between 2018 and 2020. Not only is this percentage relatively high in Central America, but the country is also one of the few in the region that has failed to show significant improvements in this area when compared to the period between 2004 and 2006.
