Jamaica: undernourishment prevalence 2004-2018
The share of population in Jamaica whose habitual food intake was insufficient to maintain an active and healthy life was estimated at 8 percent between 2016 and 2018. The percentages demonstrate that the country did not progress in lowering the prevalence of undernourishment and instead increased by one percentage point when compared to the time period between 2004 and 2006, when it stood at 7 percent.
