In 2019, Alibaba's e-commerce platform Tmall accounted for nearly half of the total online beauty product retail revenue in China, followed by JD.com with 31.3 percent of the market revenue share. Online distribution channels accounted for aroun 41 percent of the total beauty product retail sales in China that year.
