However, it has been decreasing constantly since the second quarter of 2021, reaching 6.4 percent in the third quarter of 2024. In the same quarter, Japan and Russia had the lowest unemployment rates of the countries included.
China does not release quarterly unemployment rate statistics anymore. Monthly unemployment data can be found here.
