Deceased organ donors in Chile 2013-2022
In 2022, there were approximately 171 deceased organ donors in Chile, up from 147 postmortem donors registered a year earlier. This figure reached its highest point in 2019 when the number of deceased organ donors amounted to 188. As of July 12, 2023, around 3,023 patients were on the national organ transplant waiting list in the South American country.
