Mexican mining exports amounted to more than 18 billion U.S. dollars in 2018, up from 16.6 billion dollars a year earlier. The highest value of mining exports from Mexico was registered in 2012, at 22.7 billion dollars, and after a few years of decline, the sector's exports have been consistently increasing since 2015.
