In 2023, the number of organ transplants, including kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and small bowel, performed in Cuba added up to 13 interventions, up from around 12 transplants completed one year earlier. The Caribbean nation did not report any transplants performed during 2021, while the highest figure for such interventions reached 225 in 2017.
