In 2023, the number of organ transplants, including kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and small bowel, performed in Chile amounted to 635 procedures, up from 561 transplants reported a year earlier. Meanwhile, most of the transplants in the South American country were conducted in 2019, with 651 interventions.
