Housing purchase intentions within next 12 months in Sweden 2018
Swedes were asked in a survey in 2018, if they intended to buy a residence within the next twelve months. Although the vast majority answered "no, absolutely not", 12 percent of the 16 to 34 year olds answered that they would probably buy a residence. About nine percent of the 25 to 34 year olds felt very certain that they would be buying a housing within the next twelve months. In the same fashion, one percent of the people aged 65 years and older stated that they were absolutely sure, too.
