Delivery costs, delivery speed, and the exact delivery time interval were named by the majority of the respondents in every age group as key factors in express delivery in 2018. The simple interface to order and track was more demanded by older-aged customers. Among the participants aged between 18 and 24 years, 18 percent mentioned the ability to track a courier online as an important factor.

750 individuals of the sample were surveyed in Moscow, 300 in Saint Petersburg, and 450 in other major cities. 750 people were surveyed through river sampling, and 750 were surveyed through panel sampling. Express delivery refers to a delivery on the day of order.
