Do people prefer printed books or e-books in 2019? In the French speaking parts of Belgium, printed books seem to be the number one format for readers. As a matter of fact, 42 percent of them read printed books exclusively.
The survey suggested that very few people are solely e-books readers. At the same time, 52 percent of respondents read e-books alongside with the printed format.

This question was phrased by the source as follows: "Durant l’année écoulée, avez-vous lu ou consulté au moins 1 livre (hors journaux et magazines), que ce soit pour vos loisirs, votre travail ou vos études?" which translates as follows: Over the course of the past year, have you read at least one book (not newspapers nor magazines), regardless if it was as a hobby, for work or for study purposes?
