Number of male athletes in the Italian Volleyball Federation 2018, by region
In 2018, Lombardy registered the highest amount of male athletes who were part of the Italian Volleyball Federation. Indeed, 10,119 athletes over a total of 73,792 were recorded just in this region, which is to say about 13 percent of the overall figure. Similarly, significant figures were measured in Veneto (8,030 male athletes), Lazio (7,904) and Emilia Romagna (6,690).
