Leading sports activities among women in France 2018
Running was the activity most practiced by women in France in 2018. Just under 40 percent of women ran in the last 12 months. A slightly lower rate than men in France. With a notable gender difference, Fitness and gymnastics was a much more popular physical activity among women than men. In fact, nearly 30 percent of women did so compared to 15 percent of men.
