The global fab equipment spending is forecast to decline in 2019 compared to the previous year. Korea will continue to be the largest investor, but its fab equipment spending is expected to drop sharply from 18.5 billion U.S. dollars in 2018 to 12.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2019.
