The production of low temperature poly silicon (LTPS) panels has grown consistently over the past few years, rising from 6.75 million square meters of panel area produced in 2016 to 8.99 million square meters in 2018. However, a slight decline is expected in 2019, due to U.S. government's sales ban on the Chinese telecommunication company Huawei.
